Setting up a startup involves a lot of hard work and efforts. Mr. Chan Kee Siak, or more fondly known as Chan, is the founder & CEO of the Exabytes Group, a leading web hosting provider in Southeast Asia.

From its humble beginning in 2001, Chan has led the group to expand beyond Malaysia to across 121 countries with a clientele boosting governments and public listed companies.

Chan started working on his own business when he graduated from year 11, merely doing it as a freelancer.

Perseverance and passion were the keys to his success, as indicated in Exabytes’ first book, “From Zero Byte to Exabytes”.

Find out the 10 COMMON MISTAKES made by startups in the Infographic below, produced after an interview with Chan, who is also the honoree of TOYM 2015 (Top Outstanding Young Malaysian).
