It was a joy to have over 70 participants at the recent Exabytes event, Web Design Trend 2017 a few weeks ago!
This time around, we’re elated to have invited 3 highly experienced speakers in their respective fields related to web design to join us at the exciting event.
Tommy Koh (SEO specialist), Thye Chuan Tan (Web Design specialist), and William Loh (Web Security experts) were the speakers of the important day.
Tommy Koh, an SEO specialist from SEO Geek shared with the enthusiastic audience on “How Basic SEO Impacts Your Website”. Tommy’s insights had given us a fresh perspective on SEO — we never thought that SEO could work this way.
Thye Chuan Tan, our second esteemed speaker who was a passionate web designer spoke on the topic “Design Trends – When to Follow and When not to?”
He raised a few critical points on the current web design trend and shared with us his analysis on what should be followed and not.
Our third speaker William Loh’s sharing topic was “How to protect your .SG websites from being hijacked.” William Loh is an IT Security Manager at the SINGAPORE NETWORK INFORMATION CENTRE (SGNIC) PTE LTD.
He pointed out the weaknesses of the current network security and suggested that web security should be one of the important elements in web design and development stage.
We also have a panel discussion session moderate by Kanika Agarwal, Founder & CEO of Passion Peers. It is a good sharing from all the speakers.
Besides, we also had the honor to invite IXEN Robotic, winner of Site of the Month (E-commerce category) of Singapore Website Awards 2017 (SWA 2017) to showcase their high-tech robots at the event.
At the end of the event, we were glad to have learnt tremendously from the 3 experts. Once again, we thank all the attendees for their wonderful support, and all the speakers for their selfless sharing.
Last but not least, a special thanks to our main event sponsor, SGNIC.
