Linux Windows logoMicrosoft unveiled an open source project on Windows Server.

The ultimate goal is to give developers and IT professionals to use a single interface to manage their hosting.

This is a life saver as it will combine both Linux and Windows servers in the same infrastructure in a data center.

This project is already ongoing and has been tested in some of the big data center infrastructures like Twitter and Apple.

Let’s hope in future, this technology will continue to innovate and eventually support the global demand for servers.
