If you skip this step, visitors who leave off the \u201cwww\u201d will see an error page.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Tumblr :<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>For domains, add to CNAME a<\/strong><strong>t DNS Management ,<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>@ \u2013 A ( Address ) \u2013 66.6.44.4<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>www \u2013 CNAME ( Alias ) \u2013 domains.tumblr.com<\/p>\n<p><strong>For subdomains, add :<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>blog \u2013 CNAME ( Alias ) \u2013 domains.tumblr.com<\/p>\n<h2><strong>WordPress.com :<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>For domains, update your nameservers respectively :<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>NS1.WORDPRESS.COM<br \/>\nNS2.WORDPRESS.COM<br \/>\nNS3.WORDPRESS.COM<\/p>\n<p><strong>For sub-domains, add to CNAME at DNS Management :<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>subdomain.yourdomain.com. \u2013 CNAME ( Alias ) \u2013 yourblog.wordpress.com.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Example for subdomain :<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>blog.abc.com \u2013 CNAME ( Alias ) \u2013 abc.wordpress.com<\/p>\n<p>After that, remove other records if there is any.<\/p>\n<p>Save the settings and continue with the post log-in steps.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Blogger ( Blogspot ) :<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>7. After an hour or so, go to your Blogger ( Blogspot ) dashboard and click Settings.<\/p>\n<p>8. Under Basics section, go to Publishing, where you will see your current blogspot address.<\/p>\n<p>9. After re-configuring your domain, you must wait up to 72 hours for the changes to take effect.<\/p>\n<p>When you visit the subdomain or domain, you should see a Tumblr error page \u2014 this means that the domain is correctly pointing to Tumblr, but that your blog hasn\u2019t been configured to use it yet.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>WordPress.com :<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>7.
